Christmas Time!

We had fun going to get our first Christmas tree as a family of three! William was able to take part this year! He was agreeable to whatever Mommy liked! :) I have been looking forward to this time for a long time! I had always dreamed about going to pick out a Christmas tree with my own family! What a blessing!
They had a cute sleigh that you could take pictures on. I neglected to have someone take our family picture! I don't know what I was thinking!
" Yep this is the one!"
We decorated the tree when Will was sleeping. We didn't think ornament and lights would go over well with a 10 month old! Next year he can help! Our tree is now surrounded by all of our ottomans in the house so he can't grab onto it and pull it down! He likes to try to grab the ornaments!

Here are a few pictures of my favorite things to do: 1) Be pushed around in a clothes basket
 2) Get in the cabinet with Mommy's pots and pans!
 3) Crawl underneath the coffee table and lay! (I think I am pretty cool when I do this, of course!)
We went to a chili cook off at Uncle Travis' house. His chili was pretty good! I loved playing with my Uncle Travis!

Look at my new trick my Daddy taught me :) Now everytime we go by this ceiling fan I think I need to pull the chain!

My 10 month diaper picture. It's too hard to try to get him to stay still in a chair for a picture anymore. This was good as good as it gets!

10 Months

My family was down for Thanksgiving this past weekend and we were able to have a mini photo shoot of William and Reese together. Now that William is 10 months old he now has 4 teeth! The last two top teeth came in just yesterday! There are two others on top that will probably be in within the next week or two! Poor guy! He has figured out how to crawl on his hands and knees as of tonight. His army crawl is still a top pick for him to get where he wants to go though! This Thanksgiving was such a blessing to have him with us! We are so thankful for William, our family and friends!
"Are we done yet with these pictures? I'm getting tired!"

Crazy boy in the bath tub! William Luke thinks he is much bigger than what he really is! He thinks he can climb out of the bath tub and grab things way out of his reach! He is a handful in the tub! He loves every second of being in the bath! I think it is one of his highlights of the day!

Long over due post

This is my favorite place to sit! I love watching my Daddy when he works out in the yard!

Nana, Papa, Auntie Hill and Stephen came to visit a couple of weeks ago! While they were here, we had our Parent's Promise at church. It was a day that Chad and I took to say that we were going to raise William in a Christian household and to lead him to Christ so that one day he too can decide to follow Him. We had our friends and family there to help hold us accountable and promise to help us in the journey of raising Will! :)

High five Daddy!!

I was a parrot for Halloween! I didn't know what to quite think of my outfit at first! I think he was the cutest parrot I have ever seen! We went over to Gram and Grand Dad's and some of our friend's houses!

I went to my first Purdue Basketball game and loved it!

This is William's monkey face! He does this quite a bit especially if you ask for him to make his monkey face!
This is our biggie boy!!!!

9 Months

William is very busy in the chair! It is almost impossible to get a picture of him sitting still right now! He is a very busy and active boy! At his 9 month apt he was a healthy boy! He is such a blessing!

Fall Traditions

We love fall! This is our favorite season by far! There is nothing better than, sweatshirts, football, bonfires, smores, apple cider, caramel apples, fall displays, pumpkins, candles and fall baking flavors! We can't wait for Will to take part in some of our fall traditions! We started Will out by going to get our fall display of corn stalks, pumpkins and mums. We were hoping that Will would be excited to see the pumpkins, but he barely even noticed them and loved all of the straw on the ground! We had a great time and look forward to all of the years to come!

8 Months

Wow does time fly by! I can't believe Will is 8 months old already! He officially turned 8 months old September 22nd. Will now has 2 teeth on the bottom and is working on a couple more on top! He rolls to where ever he wants to go. No more are the days of sitting him somewhere and he stays there! He can get up on all fours like he wants to crawl, but then face plants in the ground when he tries to move forward! He loves to smile and laugh. He calls Chad "Da" or "Dada". :) He takes notice of everything! He is very curious and inquisitive to everything around him. When he gets excited he waves his hands back and forth like he is clapping, but his hands don't hit :) Will can give you a high five as well! William thinks the world of his Daddy and gets so excited every time he sees him! When it hits about 3:30 everyday, Will starts to say Dada like he knows he will be home soon! Will doesn't like to wear shoes or socks, if he has either on, he tries to pull them off! As soon as he gets them off, he has the sweetest look on his face like he his so proud of him self and happy! The joy and blessing of being parents to this amazing boy is more than we could have ever imagined!

Our friends Derek and Maggie also welcomed their first son Broderick "Brody" David Johnson on September 23rd! They asked me to be their nurse for their delivery and I was honored and blessed to be apart of their special day!  Will has had a lot of new friends born this year, with a few still on their way! :)

I love catching sweet moments like this between William and Daddy! It makes my heart melt!

Busy Traveling Summer

While Chad was in Michigan for 5 days at the end of August, Will and I made a road trip up to Nana and Papa's to stay while Daddy was away. We enjoyed spending a lot of time with my side of the family!

This is a picture at Reese's 4th birthday party! This is our cousin Tori with Reese and Will
We picked the hottest day of the summer to tailgate at a Purdue football game! Will was down to his diaper! He did so good! We made it to half time and then headed for the car to get in some air conditioning and cool naps on our way home!
The last 3 weekends we have gone to the Apple Orchard close to our house. Will loves to watch the tractor go by and swing on the swings! Mommy and Daddy love the apples, apple cider slushies and carmel apples :)

My Nana, Papa and Reese came down to visit me! I like to wear my Papa's shoes! :)

In September we drove down to Atlanta to see Ashley, Mike and Will. We went to our favorite breakfast place, went to a Brave's game and went back to the town where I lived in Georgia and to UGA. It was so neat, because I had always said I wanted to some day show my husband and family where I lived in Georgia. We even got to go up to the house and see where Natalie and I had our hand prints when we built the house! It was pretty sentimental being able to go back to Watkinsville with my own family! Will was such a trooper on the way there and way back to Georgia! We broke up the trip with long stops for him to get out and move around.

Aren't these the cutest Wills you have ever seen! (2 and a half weeks difference in age)I think they look like sweet little men just waiting for their breakfast! :)
