6 Months

Will turned 6 months this past Friday! He is getting so big! He is still in the 90th percentile in weight and head and is in between the 25th and 50th for height! Poor guy didn't get any tall genes from either sides of our families! We have been working on a sleep routine for him that is going really well! It is very nice to get a nice stretch of sleep at night! He still loves his baths and now likes to play with toys in the bath tub. He can sit without any assistance for awhile before falling over and still only rolls from his belly to his back. He loves to play in his exersaucer and stands up and chews on everything in the saucer. When he turned 6 months we started him on solid foods. So far since then he loves cereal, bananas and carrots but is not fond of green beans! I think next week we will try peas and plums. I have been making his food and pureeing it, so maybe we need to change the texture of green beans! Enjoy the pictures of him!

We went to Uncle Travis' house for a party he was hosting for work. We hope Will gets Travis' dimples!!
Will and I went to Elkhart last week. Reese loved every second with her cousin William! I was nervous about driving over 3 hours in the car with just him, but both ways he slept almost the whole time!

Here are a few pics of when he tried cereal and bananas for the first time!

We have an official roller!

We have been trying to work on rolling with Will recently. It's funny how he has shown little interest in trying to turn over from his belly. He has been showing more interest in rolling over from his back to his belly. Well yesterday Chad came home from work and Will decided it was time to show off! Chad was standing in the entryway to the kitchen from the living room and I was on the floor with Will in the living room and we were talking about Chad's day, when all of a sudden Will rolled from his belly to his back! I kept saying, "he just rolled he just rolled!" He turned him back to his belly and he continued to do it over and over! We were such proud parents!! Yesterday was also a very big day, because he also sat up on his own and didn't fall over! He is developing so fast all of a sudden! It is so good to see him hit these big milestones! I have said this before, but we now really have to get on baby proofing this house!! Enjoy the video!

5 Months!

Time is flying by now! Every morning we wake up and look at Will and think he has grown more! He is getting so big! Will is now trying to grab any and everything! He especially loves paper! He thinks that when you lay a paper anywhere near him you laid it there for him to grab and then eat :) We had one of our first temper tantrums this past weekend. Will was sitting on my lap as I was doing the Sunday crossword, and I let him grab all of the ads. He would grab the ads, tear them, chew on a few then drop one and go to the other. After he got through the whole stack, he realized there wasn't anymore, and he lost it! Full blown out crying! It was so cute and funny! Bless his little heart, he is starting to figure out when something is gone! He would rather enjoy playing with paper than a nice toy! That just shows you not to spend a lot of money on toys when things around the house can entertain them just as much!

Will almost has the rolling to his belly accomplished! He can roll all the way over to his side and tries to go to his belly but can't quite figure out how to get his arm out of the way. He doesn't mind being on his belly as much anymore. He can fully press up and rock to each side like he is going to roll over from his belly.

He is just the sweetest and happiest baby! We feel so blessed to be the parents of this amazing guy!

Nana with her Grandson and Granddaughter! Reese is getting so big! She will be 4 in August! She is such a great big cousin! She does a great job holding Will!
Will went to his very first baseball game last week. We went a little league baseball game of for our of Chad's co-worker's son. We even got to see a home run! He has content and happy the whole game!

A few cute pictures of Will putting his feet in his mouth! He has amazing flexibility! Every time you change his diaper the feet go straight into the mouth :)

We had some fun in the sun this past 4th of July weekend. We spent Sunday at the pool with the Johnsons and Kegleys! The Kegleys just had their 3rd child Samuel! He was in tow and was such a great baby! So thankful for our great friends! We set Will up underneath a huge tree next to the pool. He loved playing in his pack-n-play and looking up at the tree. He loved the water again too! He loved to splash and kick around. That night in his bath tub he was doing the exact same thing. He loves to be in any water!

Will got to meet one of his new friends for the first time! One of my best friends from home Ashley and her husband Mike had a son named William Asher. William Asher is about 2 and a half weeks younger than Will. He is also a lot taller than Will! This was the first meeting of the Wills :) I was so thankful they could stop in on their way back home to Atlanta to see us!
