Wow does time fly by! I can't believe Will is 8 months old already! He officially turned 8 months old September 22nd. Will now has 2 teeth on the bottom and is working on a couple more on top! He rolls to where ever he wants to go. No more are the days of sitting him somewhere and he stays there! He can get up on all fours like he wants to crawl, but then face plants in the ground when he tries to move forward! He loves to smile and laugh. He calls Chad "Da" or "Dada". :) He takes notice of everything! He is very curious and inquisitive to everything around him. When he gets excited he waves his hands back and forth like he is clapping, but his hands don't hit :) Will can give you a high five as well! William thinks the world of his Daddy and gets so excited every time he sees him! When it hits about 3:30 everyday, Will starts to say Dada like he knows he will be home soon! Will doesn't like to wear shoes or socks, if he has either on, he tries to pull them off! As soon as he gets them off, he has the sweetest look on his face like he his so proud of him self and happy! The joy and blessing of being parents to this amazing boy is more than we could have ever imagined!
Our friends Derek and Maggie also welcomed their first son Broderick "Brody" David Johnson on September 23rd! They asked me to be their nurse for their delivery and I was honored and blessed to be apart of their special day! Will has had a lot of new friends born this year, with a few still on their way! :)
I love catching sweet moments like this between William and Daddy! It makes my heart melt!

Busy Traveling Summer
While Chad was in Michigan for 5 days at the end of August, Will and I made a road trip up to Nana and Papa's to stay while Daddy was away. We enjoyed spending a lot of time with my side of the family!
This is a picture at Reese's 4th birthday party! This is our cousin Tori with Reese and Will
We picked the hottest day of the summer to tailgate at a Purdue football game! Will was down to his diaper! He did so good! We made it to half time and then headed for the car to get in some air conditioning and cool naps on our way home!
The last 3 weekends we have gone to the Apple Orchard close to our house. Will loves to watch the tractor go by and swing on the swings! Mommy and Daddy love the apples, apple cider slushies and carmel apples :)
My Nana, Papa and Reese came down to visit me! I like to wear my Papa's shoes! :)
In September we drove down to Atlanta to see Ashley, Mike and Will. We went to our favorite breakfast place, went to a Brave's game and went back to the town where I lived in Georgia and to UGA. It was so neat, because I had always said I wanted to some day show my husband and family where I lived in Georgia. We even got to go up to the house and see where Natalie and I had our hand prints when we built the house! It was pretty sentimental being able to go back to Watkinsville with my own family! Will was such a trooper on the way there and way back to Georgia! We broke up the trip with long stops for him to get out and move around.
Aren't these the cutest Wills you have ever seen! (2 and a half weeks difference in age)I think they look like sweet little men just waiting for their breakfast! :)

7 Months Old!
Will turned 7 months old this past Monday! Chad and I were just talking the other day and in the next few months we are going to be starting to plan his first birthday party! I love this picture in his bouncy seat because I can look back at every month and see how much he has grown!
Summer Fun!
We have pretty busy this past month! Chad and I both celebrated our birthdays along with our niece Reese! Will is starting to figure out a lot more things! He can turn him self around in no time, but still is not in any hurry to move around on his own. He enjoys having a Mommy to get him from one place to another! He does enjoy sitting up on his own playing with toys! He loves his stacking toys! He can unstack them very quick and is starting to learn how to re-stack them and put the rings back on! He is also starting to get his first teeth! His gums are swollen on the bottom and you can see the outline of two little teeth. That explains the sleep being interrupted at night, drooling and runny nose! Hopefully it won't be too long of a process! Either way, I love getting up with him now, because I know that these sweet times may not always last. We try to enjoy every second every step of the way! Will is such a joy! He loves it when his Daddy comes home from work! He smiles ear to ear when he sees Chad come in the door! His Daddy is all play and fun! I love seeing them together playing and laughing!
This is Will's favorite new toy, a measuring cup! Who knew he would love such a simple thing!
Big boy looking out the window from the couch! We have a hummingbird feeder right outside this window. Our hummingbirds like to look in on us from their feeder!
We went to Trader's Point Creamery for my birthday brunch. We explored the grounds of the Creamery and saw some of the diary cows. Will wasn't too interested in them!
We look forward to the day he gets just as excited as us to see animals!
Reese and my Mom came to town for my birthday! We got in some good shopping at the outlets! Reese loves her cousin William!
Will and his Daddy were looking at little piglets at the State Fair! He actually noticed them!
The mules and Will enjoyed a nice staring match! I think he liked the close up look!
Long day at the Fair tuckered Will out! He was so good the entire day! We look forward to making this a family tradition every year! Chad took the day off work so we could get in some good family time together!
Look what I can do! I can drink water out of my sippy cup!
Messy boy eating! Daddy came home to this last week! Food all over the face and head! :)
Will loves to swing outside! Chad wad swinging him and he would have fallen asleep out there if Chad let him!
Will having fun with his Papa!!
This is me at 6 months and Will at 6 months. Do you see any resemblance?

6 Months
Will turned 6 months this past Friday! He is getting so big! He is still in the 90th percentile in weight and head and is in between the 25th and 50th for height! Poor guy didn't get any tall genes from either sides of our families! We have been working on a sleep routine for him that is going really well! It is very nice to get a nice stretch of sleep at night! He still loves his baths and now likes to play with toys in the bath tub. He can sit without any assistance for awhile before falling over and still only rolls from his belly to his back. He loves to play in his exersaucer and stands up and chews on everything in the saucer. When he turned 6 months we started him on solid foods. So far since then he loves cereal, bananas and carrots but is not fond of green beans! I think next week we will try peas and plums. I have been making his food and pureeing it, so maybe we need to change the texture of green beans! Enjoy the pictures of him!
We went to Uncle Travis' house for a party he was hosting for work. We hope Will gets Travis' dimples!!
Will and I went to Elkhart last week. Reese loved every second with her cousin William! I was nervous about driving over 3 hours in the car with just him, but both ways he slept almost the whole time!
Here are a few pics of when he tried cereal and bananas for the first time!

We have an official roller!
We have been trying to work on rolling with Will recently. It's funny how he has shown little interest in trying to turn over from his belly. He has been showing more interest in rolling over from his back to his belly. Well yesterday Chad came home from work and Will decided it was time to show off! Chad was standing in the entryway to the kitchen from the living room and I was on the floor with Will in the living room and we were talking about Chad's day, when all of a sudden Will rolled from his belly to his back! I kept saying, "he just rolled he just rolled!" He turned him back to his belly and he continued to do it over and over! We were such proud parents!! Yesterday was also a very big day, because he also sat up on his own and didn't fall over! He is developing so fast all of a sudden! It is so good to see him hit these big milestones! I have said this before, but we now really have to get on baby proofing this house!! Enjoy the video!

5 Months!
Time is flying by now! Every morning we wake up and look at Will and think he has grown more! He is getting so big! Will is now trying to grab any and everything! He especially loves paper! He thinks that when you lay a paper anywhere near him you laid it there for him to grab and then eat :) We had one of our first temper tantrums this past weekend. Will was sitting on my lap as I was doing the Sunday crossword, and I let him grab all of the ads. He would grab the ads, tear them, chew on a few then drop one and go to the other. After he got through the whole stack, he realized there wasn't anymore, and he lost it! Full blown out crying! It was so cute and funny! Bless his little heart, he is starting to figure out when something is gone! He would rather enjoy playing with paper than a nice toy! That just shows you not to spend a lot of money on toys when things around the house can entertain them just as much!
Will almost has the rolling to his belly accomplished! He can roll all the way over to his side and tries to go to his belly but can't quite figure out how to get his arm out of the way. He doesn't mind being on his belly as much anymore. He can fully press up and rock to each side like he is going to roll over from his belly.
He is just the sweetest and happiest baby! We feel so blessed to be the parents of this amazing guy!
Nana with her Grandson and Granddaughter! Reese is getting so big! She will be 4 in August! She is such a great big cousin! She does a great job holding Will!
Will went to his very first baseball game last week. We went a little league baseball game of for our of Chad's co-worker's son. We even got to see a home run! He has content and happy the whole game!
A few cute pictures of Will putting his feet in his mouth! He has amazing flexibility! Every time you change his diaper the feet go straight into the mouth :)
We had some fun in the sun this past 4th of July weekend. We spent Sunday at the pool with the Johnsons and Kegleys! The Kegleys just had their 3rd child Samuel! He was in tow and was such a great baby! So thankful for our great friends! We set Will up underneath a huge tree next to the pool. He loved playing in his pack-n-play and looking up at the tree. He loved the water again too! He loved to splash and kick around. That night in his bath tub he was doing the exact same thing. He loves to be in any water!
Will got to meet one of his new friends for the first time! One of my best friends from home Ashley and her husband Mike had a son named William Asher. William Asher is about 2 and a half weeks younger than Will. He is also a lot taller than Will! This was the first meeting of the Wills :) I was so thankful they could stop in on their way back home to Atlanta to see us!
